Unquestionably the best of the series. There were stilll some seemingly illogical and bizarrely 'creative' puzzles. Surprisingly the humor delivered laughter throughout. I also did not find myself as annoyed with the characters this time around. Maybe its because of a different localization team (for the English version) this time. I'm just thankful that they went a totally different direction with this one and chose to handle the continuation of the story from Runaway 2 much much differently than what I was expecting. Integrated help and hotspots were top-notch. I originally did not start with the first game, but rather jumped in on Runaway 2. i didn't like it and wrote a review that you can check out on here on the Runaway 2 page. After some time and a desire to play some mroe adveture games, I ran across the first of the series on sale - so I pick it up. I found it to be better than Runaway 2. I then thought that maybe I was too harsh on Runaway 2. So i played back through it and found that I was not too harsh - although knowing the answers to most puzzles beforehand made the overall game much more pleasant and some of the jokes actually made me laugh. I'm glad I gave it a second chance because I'd say the games pretty good, but watch out of Runaway 2. If 'The Next Big Thing' plays well, I'll probably go ahead and pickup 'Yesterday.' Overall, it's a decent play through. Watch out 'Next Big Thing' - here i come!

Enjoyed enough to play to end. Fantastic animation and hint system so no getting stuck or hunting for walkthru. Decent puzzles of the Runaway sort.

I enjoyed this game. Matter of fact I enjoyed all the runaway games. Comical and fun to play.
