I perfer the Fat Mann Judeth who everybody on YouTube compares him to the AVGN. Sadly he will be making no more videos for reasons explained in his last 2 videos.

It seems to me that 90% of angry video game nerd's 'humor' is... cursing alot.

I haven't thought cursing was funny since middle school.

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of swearing, and some of his rants go over the top, but I still think he's funny.

The AVGN reviews aren't supposed to be taken seriously, it's all in good clean profanic fun hehe. He is still growing strong at http://gametrailers.com in the Screw Attack section. His Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout and Atari porn reviews are side splitting. I'm hoping he does the Nintendo Virtual Boy sometime as well as the Nokia portable.

Remember when he was using the power glove on Top Gun? That was probabbly the best moment of the AVGN

AVGN is funny, but I also like IRATE Gamer. They are both pretty much doing the same gig, but each is funny in their own way.

i also like The Nostalgia Critc. Irate gamer hasn't really impressed me, and didnt he say The Simpsons Game was...good? That had me raising a eyebrow.

I don't make a point to play any Simpsons games, but none of the ones I have played have been bad. They all seem to be ripoffs of better games, but they were decent ripoffs.

The Simpsons Game wasn't really a rip-off of anything. Basically a platformer/beat-em-up. Wouldn't go under my best games ever or anything, but it was a fun rental.

No but they did have rip offs made of Crazy Taxi (Simpson's Road Trip) and Grand Theft Auto (can't remember the name ATM). Both were surprisingly fun and well made IMO.

OOPS!!!! When i said "but none of the ones I have played have been bad" I meant for "have" to be "haven't" That's what the whole "decent ripoffs" thing was about. I actually did like them.

Also, although I haven't played it, ZAMN is generally considered an SNES classic. That makes me raise an eyebrow.

I remember playing it now. It was very fun, colorful amusing game. It just was vey long and hard. (heh heh ) The bosses were extremely difficult and took forever to kill and Dracula and those Tremor things were a complete pain in the a$$!

I checked out the Irate Gamer (http://www.theirategamer.com), and it seems to me he pretty much ripped off the AVGN, whose first review (Simon's Quest) predates the Irate Gamer's first review (Back to the Future). AVGN also tends to put a little more production value into his videos, integrating more graphics and better acting. (Although sometimes I find myself saying, "get back to the game! I don't want to see a 6-minute melee between the AVGN and Bugs Bunny!")

Gonna check out the Nostalgia critic next. I love these game reviews. They bring back so many memories!

It was funny, they just seem to drag it out too long. The irate gamer is worse, his "comedy" bits aren't even funny. They're absolutely inane. That guy needs to just stick with the video games because he's no good at acting.
