 Battlefield 1943!! So anyone else get this game when it first came out? I got it on 360 and I'm really enjoying the game, great price too! Hopefully they'll get the whole connecting to server issue dealt with soon . Anyways who has this game and what do you think!
BTW I got it on 360 what did you get it on? Or are you even going to get it...

Re: Battlefield 1943!! I just looked it up on Wikipedia. Doesn't sound very interesting to me, even though I played the hell out of 1942 back in the day. I mean, only 3 maps, and no medic class in favor of regenerating health. What gives guys?

Re: Battlefield 1943!! Honestly, I'd rather they just remake 1942 in its entirety.  I tried playing some of 2 and just didn't get into it.

Re: Battlefield 1943!! I think 1943 is a quick way for the developers to earn some quick cash. And also test the waters to see if 1943 is what gamers want. If the sales turn out good i would say we should expect a full sized release quite soon.
Battlefield 1943: Armed Combat (or something generic like that)

Re: Battlefield 1943!! I don't think EA's hurting for cash. Instead, I think this is a way to test different business models, this one being an inexpensive, small game. Frankly, it's got me intrigued. I usually judge the value of a game based on it's dollars/hours played ratio, and I could see 1943 easily breaking even in that regard.
