Noob question, but if you buy a game off the gametap store, not unlimited play, can you mod the game? The reason I ask is because there is a really awsome looking mod for Mount and Blade, but I know that gametap's unlimited play games are encrypted so modding is impossible.

No, it's a good question. If you buy the game, you can mod it as if you bought it straight from the publisher. It is not encrypted from the download to own. I hope I answered in time.
