OK I am completely disappointed in gametap I used to have it a long time ago and it would run on your desktop where you can just browse through games and download that way, however with the new system it completely sucks... I cannot play some games because they are not compatible with my system, vista 64 bit, which is b.s. Also they claim that it will run on Firefox, which I have and tried to use and it still doesn't work (keeps telling me to download the stupid browser plugin over and over... Also I waited 2 hours and 34 minuets to download a game that wont play on my system(keeps saying it stopped working windows is checking for solution.) after having to do so in internet explorer which I cant stand... Seriously gametap what happened to you guys I loved your service and now its horrible how do you guys stay in business, probably from idiots like me that bought the service before seeing how horrible it actually is.. I really hope that someone somewhere in gametap gets there crap together so they can fix this and make gametap fun again... After my subscription is up I will not return or recommend this to anyone... not that it matters seeing they have already gotten my money anyway.

I hear what your saying, some of the games that I truly really enjoyed either are no longer there, and the new ones that I have tried to download do not freaking load, it used to be cool, I used to be very pleased. I do not think I will be coming back, which truly really bums me out because I truly had a lot of fun playing a lot of games like "MDK", and "COMANCHE" were my favorites, i was looking forward to play "MDK2" but I guess It needs to be purchased, "comanche" it is no longer on the list. I guess is got to do with privacy Issues, someone told me before not to play video games online but I cannot help it, I think that was what the individual was trying to tell me , more than one individuals have told me that, but the one that told me not to, was one of my computer teachers he makes a rule not to play any games online on any of the computers that he has in his house and he has several of them I guess ,who knows? maybe that is one of the reasons retro games are free, maybe it does not make any sense having to pay for something that it cannot be controlled which truly really upsets me because one should be able to play a game in peace without having to worry about privacy issues and somebody should be able to provide such service.

Well I had never tried ne thing like this i just always bought my games one at a time then i found this site yesterday and it had alot of games that i had been looking for so i paid and its been nothing but hell ever since its either that i get the download the player on every screen i go to which i thimk i have now downloaded about 100 time in 2 days or i get the game tap player downloaded when i get to the place where i want to download some games i click on my games and the little circles just around and around and the internet freezes and this little pop up on the bottom right lower corner that has something to do with the yummy installer or authorization i have left numerous emails with there support and of course no replies i even left a message on there voicemail today and of corse no email. If ne one can help me please i would appreciate it i am left to figure this out and i dont know what to next

There was a guy posting a thread about starting a Class Action Lawsuit for fraud against GameTap. It's seeming more like a good idea every day....

i would like to know what the hell happened to all the decent free games? didnt games like fallout 1 and jaws unleashed used to be free? last time i was on gametap, alien shooter 2 was the most advertised game and was under gold membership, not that i care about that game
