 Firefox 6.0 update
Edit MetaRakaHi everybody! The Yummy Player has been updated and it is now fully Firefox 6 compatible (the.xpi we released last week has now been embedded in it). Go to “My Games” section and you will be asked to re-download the Player and install it. If you already have downloaded and installed the .xpi file before, you won't see any difference. Old message follows Hi,
For those of you who have upgraded to Firefox 6, please download this file in Firefox and install it: http://dl.metaboli.com/NODRM/yprox.xpi
If for some reason the .xpi is not recognized and you are asked to choose a program to execute it, then please choose Mozilla Firefox.
Once it is installed, close and reopen Firefox, login on Gametap and erm ...play

I can't get this to install. Virus scanner is saying FLPlayer.dll is bad. Running Norton 2011.

 Re: Firefox 6.0 update
You can deactivate Norton or authorize our files, I can guarantee it's virus-free

 Re: Firefox 6.0 update
I did that, as soon as Norton came back on it removed the file. The turning off Norton usually works for the few games it detects wrong but the player it is being stubborn about. I rolled back to Firefox 5 for the time being, so I can still play, just a heads up that Norton is being twitchy.

One of the many reasons I quit using Symantec products. There are much better freeware options available.

 Re: Firefox 6.0 update
I hate to sound belligerent about it, but gametap's addon packager is a moron. Point releases shouldn't be excluded from a major browser revision. The vendor promises workability through the major version, so hard-coding the point release as maxVersion is just stupid, and pisses us all off. Stop doing it!

 Re: Firefox 6.0 update
9.x/10.x haven't gotten off your butts to fix it. Us users can't manually fix it par the normal method. (Re-packing/modding the rdf)
