I don't think you understand. The only one left at Gametap is Bob, the CEO/developer/QA/marketing person and every other weeknight at about 8pm the cleaning staff...oh wait, he probably works out of his house now. That's it! Just Bob. Do not renew the service people unless you want to pay the Gametap staff (cough, one person) to take your money and run before they close the service on us. I was in this for the kids and educational games and, save 2 games, EVERY educational game was removed...every one! Morons. They should have a variety service where we could buy the kids packs, etc. That way, the guys who want only the adult, new release type titles pay their amount, etc. It's all self sustaining.

So all the new Metaboli staff are just in my head ? I always thought I would go crazy one day but thought it would be more like killing the giant invisible walnut that always laughs at me behind my back. ("Shut up back there!!!")

 Re: Game Removal Update
Wow, things have really changed since my old days with Gametap. It is a shame since Steam, PSN, and XBLA carry several of these titles. I know it is not all Gametap's fault since the copyright holders of the games carry their decisions. Please help us to understand as to why Sega pulled support for their titles.

Sorry classical2, I didn't see your post :'(
Hopelessly, I came out of jac1002's head (because I wanted to live my life ! Know love, have fun on rollercoaster and eat ice creams, THE LIFE IS SO BEAUTIFUL) to announce that ...
Civiization IV is only the core game, and we don't plan Beyond The Sword & Warlords.
Sorry.

Thanks for your response, MetaRaka. I guess it's a moot point now, but are you at liberty to say why the expansions were removed? Was it a compatibility issue? Licensing? They seemed to work fine before everything changed, and you didn't have BtS for long, so it seems odd that the license had expired. I'd still appreciate a response, even if it's "I'm not at liberty to say." It helps me believe that all our posts are not simply submitted into the void. Thanks again.

Haha no it's not secret. Well, if it is, I'll be killed in my sleep in the next days and you won't see me writing bullshit here ; it will be holidays to you. I wasn't aware of Civilization IV situation. Now I know, and I have good news: In fact, we have an "old" master for the game ; but thanks to you we discovered that we can add the Civilization Complete edition (with BTS, Warlords and Colonization) to the Gametap catalog. I admit, it's not totally a good news, 'cause you had all of those a few time ago, but hey: Civilization IV Complete is coming back \o/ What I really don't know is: how much time will it take ? Preparing the game for Gametap, ask for keys and things like that can take time, so be patient

I don't seem to recall Civ IV even having a cd key - that was one of its selling points.

 Re: Game Removal Update
Thanks for the rapid response, MetaRaka. I guess my persistence paid off. I realize it may take time, but since you already had the work done before, perhaps not that long. Cartigan, I don't remember any of the Civ4 games having CD keys either. Hey, that's another step gone from the process!
