Hi guys,

Thanks for the effort with this :), I stickied this post.

Also I have created a post in the Help and Support forum for games that do not work so would be great if you found any troublesome games to post them there.

Thanks again.

Yes, it works. Do you have Games for Windows installed? If you don't that's what happens. If you do have it installed then make sure it's up to date.

is that a client or something from Windows update? I definitely don't have it.I search for it, but all I found was some site listing games for download for Windows on the Microsoft website.

Part of the Games for Windows client is their download store. Here's a link to the download page.

far cry 2 downloads kind of weird. it will say 100% before it actually is. close down gametap though and reopen and it will automically finish the download. after that it works awesome with 64-bit and im having a great time playing it.

Hello, I wish I could even get that far!!! I have Win 7 and a fairly new pc system but I can't even seem to download the player to just download the games. It keeps saying to allow yummy interactive but after click it several times I still can't get to work. I also put in a service request with gametap and the gave me a gazillion steps to follow but to no avail it still doesn't want to download. Please help if you have any suggestions!!!!

I purchased a one month membership so that I can play Sniper Ghost Warrior. The game however doesn't work. The problem is not with my computer...my computer has an intel core i5 and nvidia. Also I am able to play the demo that I downloaded somewhere else. So the problem is not with my computer...the problem is with gametap. I have contacted customer support and requested a refund however they are not responding. So I am using the forum now instead to see if they will respond.

I have the exact same problem with Frieght Tycoon myself. I to have an Win7 64bit system. I also can't play
Grotesque: Tactics 2- NEGC (never ending green circle)
Two worlds II- laggy and unresponsive
Trapped dead- laggy and unresponsive
Spaceforce: Captains- crashes
Elven Legacy- well thats just because I hate the insanely tiny turn limits. 7 turns to complete a level?! Are you kidding me?!

Post Re: Games that work/ Games with issues Win7-64
Hi to All.
I appreciate all your doing to list issues with certain games but each one of us have or own unique computers and configurations. The problems then could be unique to each person and there systems in some cases, With that said, Keep going. Any help is much appreciated. Now about some of the other comments regarding this site, I am hoping that I can continue to game here but unless I get some suggestions regarding freezing, I think my time on this site is going to be short lived?

A discription of my problem:
I have downloaded 8 games and only one had been trouble free from the biginning, All other games freeze at different levels of play I.e. Some freeze right away and some freeze during game play. I have deleted and reloaded till I'm blue in the face. Only one game became trouble free after the reload. All other games still freeze. Two games is not worth hanging around for.

Question:
What am I doing wrong? As I stated earlier I have deleted and reinstalled with no real results. And my computers configuration is allowing all games to load and start so I do not believe its the problem at my end. Anybody have any idea on how I can stop the freezes or is this what I can expect?

My System: (Home Built) *overclocked & graphics cards accelerated, Not running at max*
Gigabyte UD4 MB.
AMD 955 Black processer.
8 Gig of Ram.
2, 5770 Radionics graphics cards cofigured for active X-fire.
3 Tb of HDD.

I just want to say thanks in advance to anyone that can help me? If not, it was intresting trouble shooting these problems as it helps teach me that not all is my fault . I've personnally run out of idears as to what could be wrong bummer.
Chris.

I reset it, and will give a try, but the games start ok, it's just that they freeze during play. Well it won't hurt to try as its the only thing left. Thanks and will let you know if this stops the freeze issue.

Wow. That's quite an impressive configuration. By what you've given it is possible it's the xfire configuration causing the freezing. This link may help explain. But that is just my theory.
