"Adventure" for the Atari 2600.

What type of advertising was placed in online video games through the XBOX Live service in late 2008? This was the first time this particular type of advertising appeared in a video game.

Hint: The ads were targeted at 10 key states: Ohio, Iowa, Indiana, Montana, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Nevada, New Mexico, Florida and Colorado.

GameTap launched October 17, 2005.

Why did the ghosts in the Atari 2600 version of Pac-Man flicker in a way most found annoying?

Due to limited memory.

Wikipedia wrote:
To achieve the visual effect of wafers disappearing after Pac-Man eats them, the console redraws the entire maze and wafers, excluding those that had been eaten. The sprites were animated differently to accommodate technical limitations. The Pac-Man character sprite as well as the maze and wafers sprites are drawn every frame, while the four ghosts are drawn at intervals. The four different ghosts take turns displaying on the screen and only one ghost is present at any given time, which creates a flickering effect.

What was (Nintendo's) Mario's original name?

What well know American computer manufacturer designed a game console that only saw release in Japan?
Bonus questions, what was the name of console and who produced it in Japan?

The Atari 2800 is the closest answer I found to the last question, but I don't think that's right.

That is a very good guess, but Microsoft isn't really a computer manufacturer.

You know what I may be mistaken, Wikipedia claims it was released in the US but I beg to differ

The answer was Apple, who made the hardware for the Bandai Pippin

Pyetr guessed correctly in person and challenged me on the details so he can post the next question

This article says less than 12,000 Pippins were sold in the United States.

But, this one says it "never saw the light of day in North America."

And one more edit to this post to add another article which shows a Pippen labled @World which is claimed to be the USA version.

Well, it's been a whole day and no new question yet, so let's try this:

What game system was soundly panned by every major critic and magazine when it first came out as "looking like a damned toilet"?

I see what you did there. You were being all clever and stuff.
The answer is also the Jaguar.

What PS2 adventure game had you playing the role of a woman named Jen who, with the help of a gargoyle, tries to save Oblivion while looking for her boyfriend.

In 1972 the first arcade version of pong was installed in Andy Capp's tavern, engineer Al Alcorn(the person who made the machine) soon got a call from the Andy Capp's saying the machine was broken. When Alcorn inspected it it wasn't really broken, what was the problem?(This is a tough one)
