Alright folks, just like the title says, I need a rec for a good Gametap FPS to play.

I'm currently playing Two Worlds II, after that I'll be playing Dead Reefs. After that I want to play a FPS. Now I'm not a big FPS player, the last one I played was Prey back in 09. (I don't think its even on Gametap anymore.)

Anyways, let me know what you guys think is a good one to play.

Well, there are some good FPS here on Gametap.

The idea behind the gameplay is good (you are a "soul" moving from teammate to teammate, each character having his own gameplay / capacities). The game is not perfect (no coop at all, IA low and dying every 10s), but I had a really great time on it. And the story is Clive Barker's.

You can try the Painkiller games or the Serious Sam for fun and silly shooter. Or Necrovision.

You want a serious FPS ? Try Stalker, good blend between FPS & RPG, hard game, hours of play ... A bit buggy, though.

The Chronicles Of Riddick Assault On Dark Athena is also a very good FPS, you can check the reviews. I haven't played it yet but it seems to be a very good one.

!! In Amnesia, you don't have any weapon, only the view is in first person, but it's one of the most frightening game I ever played <3

Cryostasis is a bit more FPS but there's not so many fights (maybe more towards the end of the game). I loved the fact that your character can "revive" through flashbacks the last seconds of people found dead on the ship, and change the environment by resolving those little puzzles. Big PC needed!

Thanks Raka, I think I'm leaning towards something silly and mindless, kinda like Serious Sam. Then again, Amnesia also sounds like it's right up my ally, so we'll see.

Big PC needed huh? Well, my tower is only about a foot and a half tall, maybe if I stick some books underneath it, that will help. That's what you meant by big pc right?......

I have a good PC, I can run Crysis almost to maximum (only anisotropic / antialiasing not to the max) and I made like 20-30 FPS in Cryostasis. That's weird, but I think it's just very buggy. But you should try it, even if your computer is smaller than YOUR JOKE :p
