actually it IS a general Vista problem. i have reinstalled vista recently, and tried running it before EVERY update between 'fresh' vista, and the latest update. I have tried what you said about drivers, but that doesn't work.

actually with that runtime error 226,
everytime i launched evil genius i got it over and over again.
and only with that game.
