Could you switch the Friday Oct 3rd game from Burgertime to something else since it is also the first game of the new LLTs? How about something like Demon Attack, Video Pinball, Dig Dug, Timber, Atlantis, or Breakout?

EDIT: I didn't notice all the games were available in a browser. That'd be important for all of us who work and don't have admin rights on our PC to install the GT software. Carry on. :-)

If this new point-redemption system goes over well, would you be applying it to any other games or tournaments? Obviously you're not going to award 15 points for the best captions on a Re-Name Game, but maybe 3 points for a #1, and then 1 point each for places 2-5. I think it could also mesh well with other games, like the radio arcadio or the recent Radar identification game. Points per correct answer with a small bonus for being #1?

You could always add new items to the menu when you get new prizes in (the PoP novels, Grimm Mugs and such) or have things in the Closet of Mystery that need shipped out. ::cough cough:: +Murder She Wrote+ puzzle ::cough cough::

Kind of like a Chef's Special, but for prizes.

I will probably be rewarding extra points to the overall winners of round 1 and some other surprise points for doing things like making the top 20 every week. I am not making any promises but I will definately do something extra at some point. The cross event points might happen at some point but not for now. Get as much participation as possible in the first round and there will be a ton of potential in the future:)

Will there be pictures of the prizes to help us choose? I mean I've already seen alot of those ;). But it might help the non moderator crowd. (Plus I'm curious about the minigumball machine. And I'd like a pint glass ;).)

I like the whole menu theme thing, the menu creates a nice atmosphere for this thread.... a sort of closed in effect where you're at home sitting near the fireplace wrapped in a blanket and drinking hot chocolate as the snow outside pours down, creating a swirling wintery wonderland....

Something just occured to me, what about weekend tournaments? After all, the people that are awake on weekends eat lunch too.... sometimes.

if you are at work during the events you just need to get a few minutes of spare time to hop onto the browser player for the game. try to get other coworkers to join in and you can have a mini work tournament for bragging rights or having the winner get their lunch paid for. we will be keeping all the lunchtime tournies as browser play games.

They're in the works, you shouldn't have too wait long.

I just had lunch 45 minutes ago, but now I'm hungry again after playing 2 rounds of Burger Time.

Tell me something. If two different Gametap I.D.'s on the same account are vying for the top spot in the tournament, what will happen to the total points earned for the account itself? I'm guessing you will only award points to the top I.D., but over time will the points add up for the account as a whole? I don't want our competitive spirit to be a detrement to our goal of 160 total points. We each have our good games and bad; so more than likely one of us will not be champion in each tourney. Instead, it is more likely that we will be trading off who wins. So you can see the reason for my inquiry. A prompt answer would be nice. I'm sure you will accomadate. Thanks, Blue.
