Post New to GameTap
Hello, everybody! I just joined GT about five minutes ago. I thought it would be cool to reconnect with Streets of Rage, Super Hang-On, Street Fighter, X-Men, and all of my other favorites.

I'm also new. But how do I play the games or set up my controls? I'm really confused.

You need to download either the Lite player or the Deluxe player in order to play the games. Then simply pick the game you want to play on the website and select "Launch in lite player" or "launch in deluxe player."

Or if you have the Deluxe player, you can browse the games in that without using the website.

First, find a game you want to play. I'm assuming you're a Green level, but if you gave a credit card, you're Gold (and you get all the games in the catalog, not just the free ones). Anyway, find a free game you want to play. Click one of the Play buttons. You'll have to download and install a GameTap Player (if you choose Deluxe, you get both Deluxe and Lite in the same install).

Once your player is installed, you can play by going to the game page and clicking a play button.

About half-way down the game page is a link for Controls. That page will show you the standard buttons for all the controllers GameTap supports.

If you want to map your own keys or buttons to the actions, you can do that in the Deluxe Player.

Good luck, and welcome!
