I purchased Farming Simulator 2011 over 10 hrs ago and I still haven't received a key. I would like my money back in the next 24 hours if I don't get the code. If I get a reply to this post saying that I have to wait more I will gladly do so. Please respond to this post, I have been waiting almost 5 months for a chance to purchase the game. This is VERY typical of GT download to own. Next time you might wanna buy the game right before you go to bed on a school/work day. By the time you get home next afternoon, it should be sent!

I finally got my Medieval 2 gold to install, after all that difficulty i was gald to see that 4 of the 5 games in the pack worked, but the main game Medieval 2 (not the expansion) would allow me to complete installation because it said it requires a SERIAL CODE

i tried using activation code provided by gametap that one isnt long enough,

For security reasons, your activation key will be sent in a separate email after a delay of several hours.
We are very sorry for this but due to the increasing phenomenon of internet frauds we have been forced to put in place additional control and risk assessment for every purchase made on our site.

Unfortunately payment service providers are not able to protect merchants against the use of stolen credit cards details which results in a high number of chargebacks and enormous financial losses for our company.
For obvious reasons we understand your complaint and we admit this solution is far from ideal, but for the time being we have no feasible alternatives, although we are constantly looking for a better solution.

You should have received the key by now. Please check your spam filter just to make sure.

If you have not received the second mail with the key, please contact us again providing another email address we can send the email to. We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you.

Gametap, You clearly have a huge problem getting people their Product Keys after their puchase. I am one of those people, and am extremely pissed for a simple but logical reason. I have, for some reason, purchased Transformers from you guys and am beyond frustrated. If you honestly can't see that plenty of people are having problems with getting their product keys, you need to figure out if the gaming industry is what you should be in. This is fucking terrible, in many ways.I want my damn Transformers CD Key in my email now. It's been 24 hours. I know where you live.

Yeah that would be France. Just be patient guys their theft counter measures slow down the release of cd keys.

My paypal acct has been charged but I have yet to get my activation code so I can dowload the game. When I veiw my games is says that my Shogun Total War 2 order has been cancelled? What's up? To top it off, today the game is 40% less

I have purchased many downloadable games, but this was my first with Gametap...and it will be my last. The administrator can moan about issues with fraudulent credit cards, but no company has ever made me wait to play a game. I ALWAYS have the ability to play a game as soon as it is done downloading and installing.

Let's face it, if other companies can provide that level of service then it is POSSIBLE for Gametap to do it. But instead they choose to throw out excuses about fraud and how they can do nothing about it. Well...guess what? Your competitors figured out a solution. And they will be getting my money from now on.

The thing I'm most upset about is that this is obviously a major problem considering the number of complaints in the forum. But you don't bother to tell people about this issue until AFTER they pay for the game! In other words, you knowingly withhold knowledge that most people would deem important, if not critical, until after payment is rendered. In my opinion that classifies as fraud. So don't go saying that these measures are designed to stop fraud when you yourself are engaging in behavior that many would consider fraud itself.

At eight hours to the minute from when I placed my order I will be reporting you to my credit card company and demanding my money back. Regardless of whether I have my code or not I will never again use Gametap and will spread the word as much as possible about your use of what I consider to be fraudulent behavior.
