 Player Reviews On Games... Instead of the rating process, where you wonder if something was rated the way it was for a good reason or not, why not allow players to write their own reviews on games as to why they rated it what they rated?

uh yeah, thats my point. they die quickly because that that many people are interested in this kind of thing. and people make threads all the time to discuss one game. so im not sure what you're talking about on that.

Re: Player Reviews On Games... 3 or 4 out of a 1000 games is hardly all the time. I just would like a little feed back on a game before I devote my time and hard drive space to it.

Re: Player Reviews On Games... How many people play Gametap? Ok then, how many people that play gametap use the forums often? Not very many.  How can you compare a game forum to something that would appear on a tab in the on the game's page? And while YOU might not care what internet Joe says, some people do. They see a scoring of 3.0 and wonder what could have made this game a 3.0? But they can't find out.

I don't like gamespot anymore because they banned me. For some reason they thought i was 11 or 12 and then banned me  I am NOT 11 OR 12.

That sucks.  Wonder how they coulda gotten that idea. I've been a member at Gamespot for over a year now. I've written quite a few reviews there myself and, judging from the number of people now tracking my reviews, I guess they found them at least fairly helpful. To get back on thread though, it would be kinda cool if we could write a brief blurb on why we like or don't like a game. Maybe a short list of the top five positive and negative blurbs tucked away somewhere on the game desciption page.
