 Whats with the time scores?
There are 59 0.00 completion scores? The next starts at 10.09.

Re: Whats with the time scores?
Most likely someone found a bug that let them not get timed or there was a glitch with the scoreboard system.

It's a glitch with our scoring system, yes. We're working on it, those 0s should go away soon.

Yeah, I noticed yesterday that when you load up Grimm if you exit the program without playing for whatever reason (such as if you reset the sound settings and the program needs to restart), then GT will try to record a 00:00 score.

Re: Whats with the time scores?
I got a zero score because yet again I had to restart the game to enable EAX sound, and when I exited out without ever actually playing it put me on the leader board with a time of zero. Speaking of which -- WOULD YOU PLEASE FIX THIS INCREDIBLY ANNOYING NONSENSE THAT THE GAMES REFUSE TO REMEMBER YOUR SYSTEM SETTINGS? HOW HARD IS TO LOOK AT HOW YOU HAD THE SOUND AND SCREEN RESOLUTION APPLIED FOR THE LAST EPISODE AND APPLY THE SAME SETTINGS FOR THE NEXT EPISODE?

Each episode is a completely new game as far as your client is concerned. I'm not sure we can import those settings without compromising the rest of the stability, but I'll pass it along.

If Telltale figured out how to do it, you can too.

Re: Whats with the time scores?
tqwert1,
woo... my first post using my freshly created gametap forum account! being in china makes it impossible to even set one up! but i got the nice people at gametap to help me, and voila! i'm here to help. er, unfortunately, my "help" won't amount to much.
with regards to the issue of global settings shared by all grimm games... as was previously pointed out, each new episode of grimm is considered a stand-alone game. whatever data that individual game uses to run or save as settings is contained inside a single episode folder structure. we were specifically asked by gametap NOT to write data to files (or the system registry) outside of that episode folder. this was/is a valid request on their part and has to do with how they prefer their system and the games inside it to work. obviously, a developer like telltale IS writing to an external file (the system registry most likely) - but this isn't really about "if telltale can do it, you can" - based on that logic you might insist that telltale release episodes weekly since, hey "spicy horse figured out how to do it!" they're doing something we were told not to do. not much we can do about that.
ultimately, we never thought people would react with such annoyed rage at something so simple as resetting options in new episodes.

People just got used to GT's other episodic game and how it started to keep settings between episodes. It'll just take some adjusting on our part.
