I tried to download the game, but it keeps on stopping, then it said. " Mount failed [American mcgees grimm the girl without hands] There was a problem accessing game files. If the problem persists, Please contact GameTap" Whats the problem?

A generally good, if not slightly flawed addition to the resource-em-up genre.

Ande the maze was a nice touch, but it should've been taller to prevent jumping over it and bypassing it all together.
Also, the angel thing was just haphazard and tacked on.

"angel thing"? tacked on? the angel is in the story - she comes down to rescue the queen. not sure why it felt "tacked on". anyway, i like seeing grimm fight with higher powers. so it made me happy :)
hope everyone else is enjoying it. next week, godfather death. that's a fun one!

Re: "The Girl Without Hands" Official Thread
Well, yeah, but she wasn't in the opening theatre so I ended up thinking "uh, what?" when I first saw her (I also noticed she looked like the queen from Alice In Wonderland). Basically any semi-main characters should be introduced in the opening.
Come to think of it, the angel would've made a good boss fight, though. Grimm and the angel could fall in a spherical hole in the ground and Grimm gets sticky shoes to let him walk on the walls. Then the angel would start shooting lightning bolts at Grimm while he tries to convert the whole room, and when the whole room is dark, the evil could overwhelm the angel because it's supposed to be a messenger of goodness.
But anyway good episode!

Also Also Also, I noticed the music was very good in this episode! It reminded me of the mysterious and Enigmatic tunes of MYST.

Re: "The Girl Without Hands" Official Thread
I think this was the most enjoyable of the Grimm episodes so far. Artistically, some of the levels were fairly awesome. And I definitely liked the "windy" effect in some of the levels, which added a little extra strategy.
I did run up against a few new bugs though. The game crashed twice, both times immediately after clicking the replay button AFTER finishing a level to replay it. Both crashes occurred in the first level, if I remember correctly.
I also had another of those "stomp-just-as-you-gain-a-darkness-level-AND-the-scene-changes" glitches. In the level with the hedge maze, your first task is to get enough darkness to stomp near the pear tree. I got the necessary darkness level WHILE stomping near the tree, so my darkness level went up just as the pear-tree scene played. When the cinema ended, I was treated to a weird glitch: the camera stopped moving.
I was able to move Grimm, but the camera was stuck looking at the tree. Controls worked exactly as normal, but since the camera angle was fixed, controlling Grimm was very hard.
I caught a few screenshots. Here's a shrunken one, with Grimm circled for clarity: !http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v220/Thingumy/GrimmCameraGlitch.jpg!
A full-resolution (highly compressed) version is .
I was even able to walk off the screen and continue playing, but I couldn't see Grimm. Falling in the water made the screen fade out and back in again, and reset Grimm's position, but the camera remained fixed. I had to leave the level and come back.
Actually, that was kind of fun...

Re: "The Girl Without Hands" Official Thread
I found a more interesting glitch in that level. I somehow managed to ride the pear or something when I stomped it. The result was that I was in the outside area of the castle, which doesn't have much besides a small bit of area to walk in, the pear, and a void that I had to jump in to continue.
Anyways, this wasn't my favorite episode, but it had some cool parts. Especially the wind, the raining blood, and the angel platforming part (even if I died, like, 5 times on it)

Slayer makes me want to smash a plastic guitar. Preferably over a Neversoft developer's head.

Y'know, this episode reminds me of the Spongebob episode where Spongebob and Partrick were sending messages to each other in bubbles but Squidward changed the messages..... a lot
