Re: Lunchtime Leaderboard Tournament Discussion
the incredi brothers are actually 2 people but it is a problem that i was worried about at first. i would hope that nobody would do that just to screw other people over because the points still go to separate accounts and cant be combined. the point part isnt so much a competition that that should ever be necessary.
also congrats to all you played and got some points today
laconicshock is startin to run away with it, gonna need some competition to step up. dont think anyone had a shot at it today though after seein the alltime boards

Well, if it's 2 different people, on 2 different accounts, I think that their scores should count

Re: Lunchtime Leaderboard Tournament Discussion
Just in our defense. We've been competing in the Monday Leaderboard tournaments for months (before it turned into a Grimm marathon), and we will do so when it returns. Also, I specifically asked about the issue of Having two Tap I.D.'s on one account, and how it is they would add up the points (page 2). The fact that we are brothers shouldn't be held against us. It's only obvious we would use one account. You would also know that we were two different people if you owned a copy of Mario Kart Wii and played both of us. We would both roll right by you (he he he). Anyway you can check the thread for that as well. Mario Kart Wii codes. I mention his code so that other players can download both numbers. We do play together online you know. So, I guess that's about it. We're just both pretty good. Sorry. Peace, Blue.

Agreed. My concern was that some one person could take advantage of subaccounts to dominate a tournament. But I doubt that will happen, people around here seem pretty cool :D
edit: Like I said, I didn't mean to single you out IncrediBlue, it's just that you guys made me notice that someone could abuse the system. I realize you are two. Chill out.

The fact that there are so few players in the first place that even +_I_+ can place in the top 20?

The secret is to defend the right gun and the thing that is next to it. I know that I can't defend all of the buildings, so I don't even worry about those. All of the enemies have to go left to right before they can shoot at the right gun, so if you watch for it, you can shoot them before they get that far. I still shoot at the other enemies, but I go for the threating ones first.

Re: Lunchtime Leaderboard Tournament Discussion
Hey, why didn't I get a point? I was in 6th place.
And as to why my username appears multiple times on the leaderboards, I have no idea how that happened. I submitted my scores exactly as a normally do for these things.
I was so psyched when I got 100,000 in this game ... I actually started liking it. I'm kind of sad that I didn't get a point for my work... :(

Re: Lunchtime Leaderboard Tournament Discussion
Hate to be a whistle blower, but I noticed that when the day started; the top three point holders were as follows: LaconicShock-43 points, Stephen0149-43points, and Myself (IncrediBlue), 34. I just recently checked it out to see the new point totals, and his total points reallly jumped out at me. I really do remember a 43 by his name; unless he had 48 points (which I'm not too entirely sure he did), LaconicShock should only be up to 46 points total (not 51).This would mean that he was accidently awarded 8 points for his efforts today. I'm not really too sure if such a mishap could occur, but I would like to draw some attention to it. He's hard enough to keep up to without phantom points jumping onto his lifetime total. It's also not fair to DeathWarden (if my concerns do turn out to be true), especially since he placed in front of LaconicShock and only recieved what I presume to be 3 points less for it. If I turn out to be wrong, I will be greatly embarrassed; but I wouldn't waste my time if I didn't feel as though I am right. Peace out, Blue.

Re: Lunchtime Leaderboard Tournament Discussion
You get points each time you place anywhere 1-20. you then save up the points and use them to get stuff off of the menu. it makes it so you can choose anything you want if you play enough and save up your points.

Re: Lunchtime Leaderboard Tournament Discussion
I just finished a quick round of Bubble Bobble and it didn't give me an option to post my score...:S It didn't show the usual "You made a top score" medallion, and my score didn't register in the tourney. :(

Re: Lunchtime Leaderboard Tournament Discussion
It seemed to let me post only because I beat my best score ever, so it let me post it in my "buddies list" stuff and seemed to work for the tourney but other then that it didn't give me the option with my other 3 scores...
I think its only letting you post if you get a score good enough for the week boards but not registering for the tournament ones alone.(if that makes sense)

Re: Lunchtime Leaderboard Tournament Discussion
yeah that sounds right. if that is the case though its a pretty bad bug. it might end up messing up this tourney some because i doubt it will be able to get fixed in a couple hours. keep trying everyone and hopefully it will keep working most of the time.

Gah! Once again, the submit score thing isn't popping up! Do I have to make it one of my best scores to submit or something?

Re: Lunchtime Leaderboard Tournament Discussion
we just figured it out and are getting fixed for later tournaments. you have to beat your best score or get on the weekly leaderboard. if anyone is unable to do this let me know and i will award you your point when i do the points later

Re: Lunchtime Leaderboard Tournament Discussion
Red and I are crying foul just the same. I had a score 30 points just under my All-time high with 411,940(how sick), and my brother scored a 646,260, also not his best, but definitely good for 5th place. I know you will never be able to collaborate that story with us, but given our track record; I feel as though it shouldn't be doubted. Participation points would greatly be appreciated. We really didn't know what to make of the score posting situation, but we went from Bubbling mad to placidly calm when we discovered that others were having the same issues. It's not just us. It would've been nice for my brother to recieve those 3 points for a 5th place finish, but, oh well. I guess he should've come through in the clutch and topped his old best. Participation points for both of us, I believe, are warranted. I wouldn't want our perfect attendance to be wiped out by a score posting bug. Thanks, Blue.

Re: Lunchtime Leaderboard Tournament Discussion
Uh-hum, excuse me for just a second. I hate to nag, again, but I can't let something like this slide. It's not who I am. The 3 points that you awarded Red. While they were warranted, It seems as though Florestr swooped in at the last minute to steal 1st place away from '0149. This means that Red was bumped from 5th to 6th place in like the literal last minutes of the tourney. I didn't realize this had occured. I hate to make you (robotGorilla) jump around changing everything, but it just wouldn't be morally right to except extra points on our behalf, especially after my complaints yesterday. A true leaderboard is what I ask for, and a true leaderboard is what I want. Do what you got to do. Dock those points. Peace out, Blue.
P.S. Red should have 20 points, not 22. Thanks though.
