Always judge a game by its cover.

Ever looked at a video game and think that the game should be something different then whats on the cover? Why does a driving game have a picture of random aliens on it? Is this game about aliens, or about driving a school bus across the desert for eight hours? Huh? Sometimes artwork and gameplay differ drastically, so don’t take what you see on its cover for granted. You could end up playing something totally unexpected.



But have you ever looked at a games cover and created you own idea....

....for example....



Just by taking off the existing title of the game we can create a whole new gaming expectation. Agent 47 went from being a gnarly bald headed assassin to a nerdy but still intimidating tax collector. Simple enough. Some may see a hired assassin, a cars salesman, or even a balding baking soda mascot. Make your own assumptions, then roll with it.

I feel like I've gotta mention this thing from gamesradar.com:

This one's a special travesty, because The Orange Box is arguably the single best videogame product released this year - but publisher EA decided to shovel it into a box that's impossible for anyone but a dyed-in-the-wool Half-Life fan to get excited about. The weird, action-free compromise between minimalist design and chunks of character art comes off looking like nothing so much as a piece of productivity software, designed to catch the eye of balding men in ties and shirtsleeves at an office-supply store. To illustrate what we mean, here's what The Orange Box looks like through the eyes of someone who doesn't follow the game industry and glances at it on a shelf:
