I paid like...I dunno how many for the PS1 copy.  Of course, the load times were absolutely horrible (over 5 seconds just to load the menu, which, y'know, you need to go to quite a bit in an RPG). Thinking of picking up the DS version just so I can play it without going insane.

they will never get play staion games or any nintendo nintendo has there own arcade system.

We wanted to, but the PC version is so riddled with bugs it is unplayable.

Also, more simulation games all around.

I think 0 and Survivor are also console-exclusive. I'm confused as to why there aren't any RE games on the service already though.

God, I feel old sometimes. I remember when you had to have a top-notch PC to play these. Now you can play them in an internet browser window.

Re: The Official "Games I Want on GameTap" thread: Part III We need more shooting games and less action games. Theres like, 370 action games and about 40 shooting games. Some suggestions can be Bet on Soldier, and as someone else said some games from the Resident Evil series, Call Of Duty series (At least all but 4 and World at War), Fallout 3 (Though i highly doubt that would happen anytime soon), Doom 3, F.E.A.R., and Far Cry 2. Some more RPGs couldnt hurt either, like Final Fantasy.

I'm surprised these aren't already on Gametap, what with Sega re-release their old game left and right. I'm talking about the Dreamcast versions if anybody's asking.

We do have a few NES games on Gametap. (Contra and Castlevenia games) So it's not completely out the question to be getting a few NES games. I doubt we'll be getting any games made by Nintendo though.

1) The Longest Journey
2) Dreamfall: The Longest Journey
The stories are fantastic, although Dreamfall does end with a cliffhanger. I am eagerly anticipating the third game....

I just wanted to agree with yall on what at great game chronotrigger was. Certaintly a SNES classic! Oh and to stay on topic anything by the now defunct Bullforg (sniff) would be awsome! How hard can it be to obtain copyrights from a defunct company?

Re: The Official "Games I Want on GameTap" thread: Part III This is a really common question, so I'll explain. "Defunct" does not mean "unowned" or "free". All the Bullfrog IP is currently owned by EA, for example. On the flip side, sometimes IP is sold off piecemeal at auction, and may pass through several hands. It can occasionally be tricky to track down who even owns a given title, and sometimes multiple people/companies will lay claim.
