Battlezone!!!! (1998)

my personal favorite game of all time!
games are still trying to combine rts and fps with vehicles and still haven't done it as well as Battlezone and Battlezone II.

awesome campains, one of the best intro's and stories, multiplayer with multiple modes, just tons of good stuff!

Battlezone II will play on a modern PC but many people have trouble with the first.

GameTap needs to give it that magic touch and bring back to life (with multiplayer) one of the best games ever!

The BZ remakes were truly remarkable, it is owned by Activision so maybe we can get it one day.

People can get BZ2 to work on modern PCs? Nobody told me. The first is awesome though. I remember... the rave gun.

I would like to see a couple of older games like DOOM and Wolfenstien 3D to come to gametap, ahhh the memories......

"Flashback" was a game I played years ago and loved. It was on the SegaCD and was amazing. Also "Out of This World" and its sequel which I think was called "Tale of the Alien" or maybe "Rise of the Alien". Those kept me busy for hours, completely immersed in the story. They are hard to find nowadays and I would adore GameTap for giving me the opportunity to enjoy them again.

lol yeah flashback from sega cd was a good one, spent alot of time kinda getting no where but enjoyed it. i would love to see more old school nintendo games like punch-out and stuff like that

I doubt Gametap has that kind of dough(even if they did Square might not even hand over the games then)

I'd like some more old-school RPG games, like from the '90s, back in their heyday.

Agreed, Morrowind would be very nice.

Also, stuff from Small Rockets. Red Ace Squadron is very addictive.

I used to actually own the Neo-geo home game system, which was horribly expensive at the time. One game from that catalog that I never see getting ported to services like Gametap, but loved immensely is/was Viewpoint. It is a shooter in the Zaxxon-type perspective that had at the time great graphics with a high difficulty rating. I would absolutely love the chance to play this game again and actually have a chance to beat it.

The second game on my list is an old arcade game. That has the same weird problem of never getting ported even though it is very fun, has a lot of hidden extras and actually has one of the biggest characters in videogames as its main character. This game is Pac-land.

It doesn't seem to me that either of these games should have any technicial things that get in the way of being brought to a service like Gametap. Yet they both seem to be profoundly overlooked. When games of less playability and fun factor are included/ported to Gametap. Just my 2 cents and hope that these 2 great games can be added to the Gametap library.

*edit* Thanks to whoever moved this to the appropriate thread. I quickly looked for the right thread and should have done a better search I guess.

Is there any way to get the big list of suggested games on the forums and the probabilities that they will come to GT? I do not have time to look through 40+ pages to see what I already suggested on GT. Just some musings.
