Although I don't like how vampires have been redesigned from what I am used to I was entertained. My wife had read the books, and I will continue listening to the series (I am in the car a lot and never have time to read) so we can discuss them together. Our tastes in books don't generally converge, so this is nice for us.

I don't relay understand all the fuzz about these books. There a nice entertaining read, ok. But then ?
I like the "vampire revisited" aspect, rather than the "déjà vu all over again".

And i quite a disappointment with book 4, whose e-book was such a poor quality that i had to do some nasty stripping drm / converting to html / regular expression to delete the excess lines jump / re-bundle to prc.
So i had something readable, with the annoyance of being a little spoiled in the processes. Needless to say, i asked my money back.

Decent chick flick, but if your into vampires like myself True Blood on HBO is pretty darn good series thus far. Can't wait for season 2 to start, that and Dexter on Showtime is a MUST!

Personally, I like Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines. Never played the tabletop game, but it's a pretty fun game on its own.

Plus you can be an insane vampire who convinces a guard that you're a keyring, so you should be given the keys. What other vampire can do something like that?

Oh, guess I should put in my opinion on Twilight too. Uh, haven't read the book or seen the movie, so I guess I'm indifferent? Yeah, sure.

Aye, if you enjoy the lore of the game you might want to pick up the core book (Vampire - The Masquerade), if only because it's an interesting read. "The Masquerade" is no longer being produced by White Wolf in favor of a new setting, so it may be a bit hard to track down. I also recommend some of the novels based on the setting (the Clan Novels series is prominent) - they aren't anything phenomenal but are good for what they are.

Twilight, however... eh, disregarding the fact that the supernatural creatures are uninspired renditions used only to frame a typical teen romance story... mneh, it's hard to comment without offending someone. But... I just can't stand how popular it and the evil, evil film it spawned (and there's going to be sequels! THREE OF THEM!) are. The books are written on the level of fan fiction, except there wasn't anyone more competent to write an interesting setting.

I'm... not a fan.

Ok, I know I'm going to get some people mad at me for posting this (my gf chief among them) but, I'm getting so sick and fed up with all this lovey-dovie, pretty boy, girly crap that passes for a vampire movie these days. It's a complete joke.

Look, if you want to see a real vampire movie, watch 30 Days of Night.

But seriously. Moonlight? Twilight? True Blood? Even From Dusk Til Dawn 2 was better than this stuff.

I haven't seen 30 Days Of Night, but Let The Right One In was pretty cool.

I hated 30 Days of Night. If you want the greatest vampire movie ever, watch Nosferatu.

as far as vampire flicks go its an abomination...HATED IT! Went to see it and walked out 40 minits in....EPIC FAIL

I used to be a big Vampire: The Masquerade fan but now... am I the only one who is sort of getting sick of the whole vampire craze in general? The whole damn thing is so cliched at this point. Now a movie about a tortured, hopelessly romantic zombie? I'd gladly shell out some cash for that!

Well, I don't know about the hopelessly romantic part, but you might want to check out a twisted little gem called Fido. It's the story of a young boy and his pet zombie (curiously named Fido), who kills and eats the bullies that pick on him (among other people). There's even a guy who has a hot zombie girlfriend!

A heart warming, gory, family friendly zombie flick if there ever was one. You know; the kind of movie Walt Disney would have made................if he were messed up on some SERIOUSLY good drugs.

My sister likes Twilight, but I seriously couldn't ever get into it. I suppose it's just one of those things. I like 3000AD titles, other people like this Twilight thing, though I do tend to get in an argument here and there. Vampires explode when they are caught in the sun...
