Does anybody know a way around the Alchemy bug, where a name will be in the name field but it keeps telling me to type in a name? Or is the only way around to just keep hitting the Create button?

A friend of mine had a similar problem, we looked for mods and bugfixes but couldn't find anything for it, you might just have to live with the annoyance.

I didn't care much for Morrowind. To easy to get money and not enough stuff to spend it on! I mean steal from the enchantress in the first city (i don't remeber what its called) and you will have more money than you can spend!

I dunno it seemed pretty tough to get money unless you do the later guild quests but there are only so many of those.

I think money is too easy to get in Morrowind as well. Its much too easy to steal and sell things for quick cash, and once you find creeper you can sell things for full price.

Yea, there are mods for everything in Morrowind and Oblivion. My personal favorites are the ones that make me have to eat and sleep. In the case of Oblivion, i also require that the fast travel be disabled. These things really help to convince me that im living a different life, and not just playing a game.

But that's one of the most key things in open world games :o

You really should give it a shot, disabling fast traveling increases immersion so much more; it's one of the big reasons I actually prefer Morrowind over Oblivion.

Morrowind still had the silt striders. Of course you did have to find those and pay for those,

I don't know how much immersion I could ever get out of a game with a handful of voice actors and every character repeating the same few lines (besides the really special ones, of course).

Yeah and I definitely use those but it's different than Oblivion fast travel in that you can only go from town to town. That's why even in Oblivion when I have fast travel off I have another mod that puts in horses that will take you from town to town for a small fee just like Morrowind silt striders.
