Post Website background image horrible screen flickering...
The background image diagonal lines mesh causes HORRIBLE flickering on monitors and is extremely headache inducing... I have tried it on both 17", 20", 24" monitors at resolutions between 1024x768 - 1920x1200 with same results...

Website 101 - solid color background or one that isn't so finely grained it causes patterning... PLEASE MAKE IT GO AWAY :)

Thanks

Argh, I can't look at this for more than a few minutes before the flicker drives me from the site... please, please, please fix the background.

No need to double post. I'd guess that this would be at the low end of the spectra right now. (Although I'm not having any patterning problems...)

Thanks jenge, this is the first we have heard of this. We will definitely take a look.

Good grief... the screen flickering due to tight diagonal lines used for background image is still drilling a hole into my brain.

Went digging for this post though the pages of feedback since I made it... mistakenly made a new post in technical instead of feedback. Thanks to the Grumpy admin for admonishing me... a couple times now.

I am taking my TIME to report something that is interfering with a service I am paying for... and others are having too, though maybe aren't taking the time to leave the feedback. That is a favor... and it has been almost 6 months since I last said anything about the issue.

Moire patterning and screen flicker remains months later... with 64 bit support, I can actually play something on the Gametap subscription I paid for back in April. Disappointing to see the flicker/moire patterning on the site is still there...

There's a reason websites don't use a tight diagonal mesh high contrast web background... please address it.

... and again CONGRATS on 64 bit Trine :)

Looks like you and one other person are the only ones who have had this issue, unless, as you say, others aren't taking the time to leave the feedback. I imagine that it's either been forgotten about or is VERY low on the priority list, since there have been only 2 complaints about it.

Let me get this straight, you paid for a subscription in April and haven't been able to play anything since? WHY DO PEOPLE PAY FOR THINGS BEFORE KNOWING IF IT WILL WORK?!?! :|

"WHY DO PEOPLE PAY FOR THINGS BEFORE KNOWING IF IT WILL WORK?!?!"

Good grief, I was running 32 bit Windows at the time. Thanks for jumping to conclusions.
