So lame that I couldn't break 10k, but I only had time to play twice. I figured you guys needed some love from the staff.

It's good to see you competing again, Tyrion. I remember you as the Defender champion. 14660 in Lunar Rescue. Is it my imagination, or does Vulgus on GameTap sound better than it used to? Does anyone notice?

84,150 For a while I had a score that tied Jaccyber. How would points be assigned in case of a tie?

 Re: Unofficial Tournaments
Another idea would be to add up and split the points. For example: If it was a tie for 3rd and 4th place the there would be 15 points up for grab (8 for 3rd and 7 for 4th), so each person would get 7.5 points. This would also work for 3, 4 or more way ties if there is a game that naturally results in close scores.
Just another idea to throw out there.

Or we could play Rock - Paper - Scissors. LOL Or maybe we can guess how many points Stephen will win by in the next game.

 Re: Unofficial Tournaments
I reached the end of H.E.R.O. (one million points). I am posting a picture of before and after the end. Yes, I was listening to Pandora Radio while playing. I did not use any save states. If two people post the same score, just call it a tie and give them both the points for the better ranking. If you do it based on who posted first, things could become complicated because of different time zones (one person could post before another even starts the tournament at midnight). While we are on the topic of points, I believe it is best to treat each month separately for points. It is frustrating being behind on points because of missing tournaments months ago. Also, people interested in joining the tournaments now can look at the leaderboard and see that they have no chance of catching up. Either way, I am going to try to win for October, whether it is recognized or not.

 Re: Unofficial Tournaments
I'm sure no one & not even me can beat you at this game LaconicShock, so congrats on winning: but when you reached 1 million, what's with those explanation point marks?

 Re: Unofficial Tournaments
Thanks Stephen. When you reach a million points, the game stops and the score changes to that. There are a few other Atari 2600 games that do something similar, like Dolphin and (I think) Laser Blast, but many of the games would just reset the score if it went over the maximum. When we played that H.E.R.O. tournament about a year ago, I died right before getting a million points because I didn't know where "!!!!!!" would fit on the Leaderboard. Speaking of game endings, I used to play Laser Gates a lot when I was a kid, but I was never able to reach the end. I remember the instructions saying that there were four levels, but I kept dieing in level 4. I guess I will try it again now. If I can't reach it, maybe you can. You are the type of gaming genius that could do it.
