Trackmania United Forever
Realism, schmealism. Who needs physics when you're going from a full loop to a 100 meter jump, all at 300 miles an hour? Trackmania United Forever is a high intensity hyperkinetic arcade racer with tracks like nothing in the real world. Race, perform stunts, or just try not to crash on these twisted tracks, and compete against the computer's best times, or go online and play against the Trackmania community all over the world. Trackmania United Forever also includes Trackmania Nations, with 75 more tracks.

I already bought this game some time ago, it's awesome. Everyone should definitely download it.

Were there any old games encoded for 64-bit this week or does that not start yet?

Not yet, we're working out a couple bugs, probably next week.

Not to detract from Trackmania's star (still loving the download speeds with this new encryption), but will we get one re-encoded game per week, or will there be more?

Most week's there will be more than one per week.

Do you know which games are up first for encoding? I'm really hoping for Civ4, as I've never been able to get it to run.

The first ones out aren't necessarily priority/popular games, just what we already had on hand. The games that are actively being re-encoded will in general be in order of most popular.

can't get the game to play on my laptop--something, the closest I've come about needing Yummy 40?

can't get it to play at all on my new 64 bit machine

can't get any of the following to play anywhere: Heroes 5, this game, Locksmania, Rayman Rabbids, and Triune. The machines are new--the laptop a few months old, the desktop (running Vista 64 bit) a few weeks . . .

Nothing works. I'm too old to learn. Can someone please walk me through this stuff?

P.S.: I did download or try to download that thing to make Triune work, but it didn't.

Trine and Trackmania are the only PC games that are 64-bit compatible at the moment. There are common solutions for updating your drivers to run Trine in the support forum. Trackmania is currently experiencing a bug with som Vista and Win7 systems.

Trackmania is my new favorite racing game. It's like they merged skateboarding games, sonic games, and an amusement park into a car game. With the levels with the half pipes and the loops. This game is crazy awesome. The airtime in this game is just amazing, Wow.

It's good to see that you're able to play it! I've played Trackmania Nations for a couple of years and it is by far the funnest racing game I've ever played. Hopefully the launch problem with United that some of us are experiencing will be resolved soon.

I am in total agreement. My wife is most unhappy at my disappearance to the race track each evening.

The show key button on the gamepage often doesn't work for some reason but, the little key button in you download manager, next to Trackmania should work fine.

Windows 7 = fail
Runs fine for me in Steam though.

Seriously, releasing any games since Win 7 went RTM and not making them Win capatiable is just bad business practices. Two I was looking forward the most dont launch. Hell Mechwarrior would be worth me keeping my subscription long alone and its dead.

Our Trackmania has a bug currently preventing play in Vista or Win7, it is being addressed though.

How does multiplayer works for gametap ?

Hey, I used to get Trackmania to start in Windows XP Service Pack 3, and now it won't work anymore...It gets caught in a loop...any ideas?
