Re: Unofficial Tournaments 80,306 in Laser Gates. I gave up on trying to get to the end of the fourth level, and just got as many points as I could before time ran out. To get to the end, you would probably have to save up the shields, then ram into some of the traps at level four just to save a few seconds.  In case anyone is still playing the game, here is a trick (I didn't invent this). As you get past a trap or enemy, hide in a gap in the mountains near the right side (above or below). If a missile appears, it will fly past you. You can turn left and shoot it for points, or you can let it go to save time. Edit: I am posting a second picture in full-screen so that the score is readable. The demo already started in this one.

I thought that this would be a win for me, because I like to play this kind of game frequently. You are an extremely tough guy to compete with. That is what makes the tournaments interesting.
