Modding/Patching Games
Many mods and patches may work with games encrypted for 64-bit compatibility however this is not a supported feature and doing so may break your game, erase your saves, etc. so mod/patch at your own risk.

Runtime Error 226
Some users may get this error upon launching a game. Simply relaunching the game is all you need to do.

Missing Game From Download Queue
While downloading a 64-bit compatible game should the GameTap plugin be exited or crashed the download in progress will disappear, you can resume the download by going to the game's page and clicking the download button.

Backup Your Save Games
64-Bit compatible games keep their game saves in the same location the original game would. If you wish to keep your game saves but delete the game, you need to backup the save game before delete the game.

Download Manager Display Issue
You may see some strange display errors in the download manager when downloading a 64-bit compatible PC game, for example: progress bar exceeding 100% or completed download doesn't move to the completed download list.

Every time I launch Trine (so I assume it applies to the everything coming out with the new encoder), it crashes my Windows Explorer on Windows Vista 32bit.

Thanks for the advice with PhysX above. Finally had time to try it and it works very well.

Edit: wrong thread. Oh well. Thanks still applies.

We have one Vista machine that hits this problem in our test lab. Its not a general Vista 32 problem as far as we can tell, but we are investigating a solution. Fortunately it doesn't prevent us from playing the game at least on our machine.

I'm still having problems running Trine. I have vista 32, The settings screen comes up but when I click Launch, windows pops up and say the game has stopped working and looks for a fix. Anyone have an Idea how to fix this??

COnfirmed that I have this same exact issue.

Furthermore I ahve the same issue with Trackmania. I'm running 32-Bit Windows Vista Home Basic. Trine will run fine after explorer.exe is restarted.

Trackmania, however, seems to be suffering the same not liking Vista issue mentioned in the Trackmania specific threat

Also have the same issue. It didn't keep me from playing Trine, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out it's causing the Trackmania launch bug.

My explorer closes also on Trine using Vista 32. i am just hoping 64-bit become ubiquitous quickly here so I can upgrade to windows7.

Ah, I see. Also is Tomb Raider: Legend really 0 mb? Also instead of showing a download button it shows a play button even though I never downloaded this game ever.

Yeah um hi. This "64 BIT" thing you guys have on now DOES NOT WORK. I was seriously considering buying a subscription for 6 to 12 months but now, NO WAY.
I cant download anything with that label.
This is ridiculous.

Has anyone gotten ANY of the 64-bit games working? I can't even get DNA to work.

We are missing some size data for this game, sorry about that. You can still download and play it, you just need to wait until the progress bar is done updating.

Should be fixed the next catalog update.

If you can describe the problem and post your logs, we can probably help. I am looking at our game play stats for yesterday and I can assure you that its working for the vast majority of people.

Directions on posting logs can be found at the top of the tech support forum.

There hasn't been a catalog update in the last 24 hours. So the 0MB thing won't be fixed, but clicking "Play" should begin the download (and then you'll just need to wait until progress stops)

Tomb Raider: Legend is what I'm trying to download. I get a 'play' button, but like I just said...I have not downloaded the game.

I'm going to cancel my subscription soon if stuff like this can't get fixed.

Ok then. Then do you know how much memory it takes and help me estimate how long it will take? My download speed would a be 250kb or such.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe Tomb Raider Legend is something like 1.2 GB.

Wait, is this just a result of the size error? (The fact that GT thinks it's 0MB right now). If you click the "Play" button, does it try to download? If it is a result of that, that's one fix, also as Tyrion said, the next catalog update (Thursday) will add the size data in.

So, what should someone do if this happens every single time they try to launch a specific program? I download a game, I play it once and only once, but every time after that it gives me this runtime error. Sometimes, upon re-downloading a game, it happens before I even launch it the first time. What's the deal with this?
