Icewind Dale II, Where Can I Find It Now???
Hey, I originally joined Gametap because of Icewind Dale II and although I am well aware it has been taken off I was wondering if anyone out there knows where I can possibly download it again? I am more then willing to pay whatever to play it since I love the series and am a Dungeons & Dragons nerd so any help at all would be appreciated.

It's absurdly expensive (for an old game, anyway) on Amazon. That's all I can find. Sierra doesn't seem interested in selling it on Steam or GoG or GameTap's shop.
Their loss :/ And ours.

You may be able to find it at Walmart with the old games.

I was wondering what you meant by expensive, figuring you were talking 30 dollars. Man was I wrong and you are right, the prices on Amazon for it are insane. Edit - Did a quick google search and found some in stock at Sashimi games for 29.99. I've never heard of Sashimi Games, but if you want to take a chance, there is an option.

If you're buying a DnD video game, Neverwinter Nights and its sequel are the only ones that do it justice.
Well, Planescape: Torment had a good plot, but the gameplay was atrocious.

i wouldn't say that NWN is the best---personally, i prefer Baulder's Gate and Baulder's Gate 2. However, i've been playing those for the last, oh, 10 years, so my opinion is a wee bit biased. NWN 2 i own, haven't gotten much into it though, its one of the few games i still have on a disk, and its a pain to go digging around for it. The graphics req on NWN are quite high, which was why i couldn't play it previously. Upgraded my system (after getting Bioshock and Crysis as presents, it felt only right) and it plays fine. The gameplay is quite differant then IWD & other games of the type, especially for a DND one.

Re: Icewind Dale II, Where Can I Find It Now???
I just came on this forum with this exact question.
I wasn't planning on ever subscribing to Gametap again after I upgraded to a 64bit os and found out the hard way that they didn't support x64. But now that there is limited support I gave it another go. Unfortunately that some of the games they got rid of were the awsome RPG games. All there are now are DOS Rpgs and if I want to play that, I'll download Elder scrolls arena/ daggerfall for free (official).
Not trying to troll or bash, just wishing there were some icewind dale type rpgs to play.

The Neverwinter Nights games are coming soon, along with The Witcher.
