(using latest Firefox) as the name imply, when i log in... endless plugin install loop, when i enter a gamepage, endless loop and thats it, disabled ALL plugins, endless loop im going to uninstall GT and install again to see if that helps


EDIT: i just remembered my brother disabled other plug-ins, INCLUDING gametap just because newgrounds flash games dont work and when he did, still didn't work and didn't re-enabled it

1) Run your browser "As Administrator". You should be able to do so from the start menu or by setting attribute from the file options.
2) Add *.gametap.com to your trusted sites list

Same problem here, in both IE and Firefox, and even uninstalling and clearing my cache *and* my registry didn't help when I went to reinstall. Tried to run as administrator, with no luck.

In Firefox, I get the infinite loop of asking to install the plugin (version 4.3.0.57). In IE, I get the screen that asks me to specify the download location for games, and then the ActiveX plugin install screen, and then the progress bar climbs to 100% and I get a dialog saying "Please close all windows to continue" ... and when I do that and reopen, and go to "My Games", the loop starts all over again.

In effect, the GameTap plugin does NOT install the GameTap Web Player - it's not showing up in my installed programs list, and the file location isn't present in either "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)".

Something's badly wrong with the system.
