Post Cloppy games on Windows 7
I just upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium, the 32-bit version, and almost all of the web browser games are cloppy. Is this from Internet Explorer or do I have to use another browser to play the web-based games?

You need to update your video driver. We had the same problem on about half of our machines in the test lab when we installed Windows 7. The initial video drivers that were made available for Win7 were not very good, so go to your video card vendor site to get the latest.

I don't have a video card, I have a Intel 82945G Chipset. I checked Intel website and I have the latest driver for Windows 7. I guess I'm going to have get a video card then, right?

It just depends on whether Intel plans on making an update to those drivers any time soon.

In all of our Windows 7 testing, the emulated games have the same frame rate as they do on Vista and XP once you get the right drivers.

For what it's worth, I recently (i.e. this past Sunday) upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit and haven't had a single problem with GameTap.

GameTap Ratings Board (GTRB) Notice: GameTap experience may change based on your system.

I'm guessing they're just waiting for the 3rd party drivers to tighten up a bit. (Juts a guess, no inside knowledge here.)
