Left 4 Dead 2 demo - Better than I thought
Personally I wasn`t excited for Left 4 Dead 2 but after playing the demo I have got to say I`m impressed. Even though the basics haven`t changed I find myself more hooked to this demo than the Left 4 Dead demo which surprises me. Can`t wait for the game to come out. Also who thought the machete was awesome!!??!?!

The machete was awsome I keep getting pwned by chargers, I don't really like the level design as much as I did in the first one but maybe that's just me.

Granted, I've only played the demo level, but I gotta agree about the level design being uninteresting. Also, playing in the daytime just doesn't seem right.
So far I haven't seen anything that couldn't have been handled by some DLC.

To be fair the demo doesn't show off very much. No scavenge mode, no versus mode, no realism mode etc.

Re: Left 4 Dead 2 demo - Better than I thought
I'm kinda with LC on this one. I had fun, but there wasn't enough new to make me want to run out and buy it. I'll wait until the price drops some (like I did for L4D in the first place.) Unfortunately this is going to take away all the L4D players I guess, but I'll live. Play Notes: Machete was fun, you trade range and fire speed for what amounts to an autokill, which is an interesting trade. I didn't play with the frying pan or baton. The new specials really didn't do much for me. They're variations on what we already had (Charger as minitank, Spitter is a boomer variation, and the jockey is smoker/hunter hybrid variation.) The new graphics are nice, and the Directory 2.0 seems a bit less finicky (there were times where Director 1.0 just didn't throw monsters at me at all, this one seems to not have that problem.) Also the push to turn of the alarm was interesting, because unlike normal swarms, you couldn't just hunker down, you had to push foward. Nice change of pace. I didn't much mind playing in the daytime actually. It makes a bit of sense if you think about it, whose going to go out at night, in the dark?

I'm pretty sure they're gonna keep making Downloadable content for the first L4D. About the melee weapons, all of them seem to insta kill(even the frying pan) but some attack at diffrent speeds and have diffrent ranges. Did anyone else find the magnum pistol, I thought it was pretty satisfying to blow a zombies ribcage of with it
