 Gametap Player update, getting a virus warning

Post Gametap Player update, getting a virus warning
Anyone else? Whenever the update tries to run, I get a virus warning on about FakeAV dropper.

XP SP3, Avira Antivir, Firefox 3.5

Edit: I see I'm not alone, looks like a false positive. I've never had issues with GameTap and Avira before. Anyone know any resolutions? I hate to have to make a choice between these two apps, but Avira would probably win.

You can't just "exclude" GT and/or it's folders? LC says he's been seeing a lot of other false positives with Aviara lately. Personally I'd just get another Virus Scanner (AVG is pretty good, and free.) But ultimately it's your choice.

yea id recommend AVG its what i use and it gets the job done

I guess exclusions are the way to go.

I used to use AVG but switched over to Avira mainly based on this article:

This is the first time I've ever had an issue with it.
