What ironically named Atari 7800 game had a bug that made it unwinnable?
(And yes, I know this is probably a wrong usage of ironic)

 Re: Happy Fun Time Trivia
The answer to Buster's questions is "Impossible Mission".
Now we need another question.
[Edit] Ok here's one:
What PC CD-Rom game from 1996 featured "claymation" but for some reason remains out of print despite good reviews and a continuing fan following. (This would be a great addition to the Gametap library...hint, hint.)

Which Rear Admiral of the US Navy led the development of a programming language and had a special connection to computer "bugs"? What was the bug?

 Re: Happy Fun Time Trivia
i want to say that was Grace Hopper, but the only bug i found with anything associated with him was something with programming language too far from the original. Don't want to add a new question if i'm wrong (which, i probably am)

 Re: Happy Fun Time Trivia
You've got the name right, Grace Hopper. A she, not a he actually.
Just a few more details of why she is associated with computer "bugs" are needed.

 Re: Happy Fun Time Trivia
Wikipedia wrote: The invention of the term [bug] is often erroneously attributed to Grace Hopper, who publicized the cause of a malfunction in an early electromechanical computer. A typical version of the story is given by this quote:
“In 1946, when Hopper was released from active duty, she joined the Harvard Faculty at the Computation Laboratory where she continued her work on the Mark II and Mark III. Operators traced an error in the Mark II to a moth trapped in a relay, coining the term bug. This bug was carefully removed and taped to the log book September 9th 1945 [sic]. Stemming from the first bug, today we call errors or glitch's [sic] in a program a bug.”
Hopper was not actually the one who found the insect, as she readily acknowledged. And the date was September 9, but in 1947, not 1945. The operators who did find it (including William "Bill" Burke, later of the Naval Weapons Laboratory, Dahlgren Va.), were familiar with the engineering term and, amused, kept the insect with the notation "First actual case of bug being found." | | |
At the beginning of which video game are you commanded to "rise from your grave"?

As great as his reply was, it's not actually right, and thus doesn't have an associated question yet.

 Re: Happy Fun Time Trivia
Well, two weeks now and no new answers or questions so, lets try this:
In the driving sim Enthusia: Professional Racing, there is one vehicle listed in the official strategy guide that, in fact, does NOT appear in the sim! Which car is it?

 Re: Happy Fun Time Trivia
It seems as though the trivia thing is no longer working out. If its Okay with everyone, I would like to try something new. I shamelessly ripped this off from another forum I used to frequent. It was much more active than this one, so I don't know how well Its going to work here. You have to identify the game the screenshot is from. Ill start it off with an easy one.

 Re: Happy Fun Time Trivia
Gee. Guess I'm the only person who's ever played Enthusia. Either that or no one likes likes replying to my posts for some reason. In any case, the answer to my question was the Ford Focus WRC rally car. Mobius, the answer to your's is X-Com: UFO Defence. Played it many moons ago on my old PS1. Excellent game! As I don't know how to post screen shots like this, I'll let you continue (great idea by the way ).

Pretty sure, yeah. Also, in case anybody was wondering about the answer to my question, it was Split Mushroom from X4. Here's my screenshot, just to continue things.

 Re: Happy Fun Time Trivia
Ill try to get some sort of mini-tutorial on posting images going after I wake up. It will be quite a while though, as im not sure when ill get to sleep.
Edit: Wait a minute... There is an option to attach files that i never noticed? I guess its probably easier to use that than my method.
