about to rip my hair out
I have been getting nothing but runtime errors and blank screens for all 8 games I have downloaded. I have updated directX, video drivers, defraged, virus scans, spyware scans.. and everything is fine. My games will still not work. I finished DLing evil genius earlier today while i was watching a movie. It went down to the list below like they usually do, but now it says I havent Dled it at all... not one kb. This is really starting to piss me off.

Hopefully we can get you un-pissed...

I also have the problem with Evil Genius. If I pull up the task manager it shows it running at 98% CPU usage but nothing happens.

Thanks for posting logs. It looks like you are perhaps hitting a bug that we just fixed last week but haven't gotten in a patch yet. Please try the following: 1) Make sure GameTapWebPlayer.exe is not running using the TaskManager. You can kill the process if you need to. 2) Delete the following file: C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/GameTap Web Player/appdata/users/user_Phaytal/downloads.xml 3) Login into GameTap.com and go to the My Games page. 4) Try to start Sacred Gold again. If that doesn't work, please post your logs again so I can investigate further.

Re: about to rip my hair out
I did as you suggested and they are still not working. Same runtime error and such. I posted the logs again.
If it's a patch thats out, but for some reason im not getting it wouldnt reinstalling everything work? I dont want to have to DL my games again, but if I have to I will.

Re: about to rip my hair out
Something wierd may be going on. Based on your logs, it looks like Evil Genius started downloading before you tried to start Sacred Gold. What I am trying to figure out is if you started Evil Genius yourself or whether the application is trying to download it automatically.
Basically, your player is in a wierd state and for some reason its trying to start Evil Genius, not Sacred Gold. That's why its not working. Deleting that downloads.xml file should prevent the player from downloading anything automatically.
Can you confirm the steps you are using? I think we can solve this if we can Evil Genius out of the way.

Re: about to rip my hair out
When i go to the my games page evil genius is in the DL area and it starts to DL on its own, but it stops a second later and moves down to the other games with a play button. I deleted the file you told me to and ive deleted Evil genius. The other games still dont work. I think im going to uninstall and redl everything. If that still doesnt work then i think I might just have to give up on gametap

Re: about to rip my hair out
Here's an idea- Are you killing your browser session between attempts? There is no way that the player should be downloading anything automatically if you are killing the GameTapWebPlayer.exe process, ending the browser session, and deleting the downloads.xml file (in that order).
I have to believe that your are missing a step, because I just don't see how that's possible.
I would guess uninstalling would not change the behaviour unless you are ready to delete all of your games and start over. I would not recommend that unless you have tried everything else.
