 Hey, I have a question.
Could I download a trainer or some mod or something for some game I downloaded from gametap? If so were is the folder to put it into? It would seem odd that it takes up Computer space but dosn't get a folder. Thanks in advance,

Re: Hey, I have a question.
I think so. Mods, for the most part i have had limited success with that. Enable searching in hidden folders, then search in the C: drive (a.k. hard drive.) (If using vista, searching everywhere WILL NOT WORK! I know this from experience), search for 1500. You should get 1 folder for every 64 bit game you have DL'd. Theres the program files. Enjoy!

Re: Hey, I have a question.
Unfortunately mods and trainers don't work for games that haven't been encrypted with the new Yummy encryption. Any that have will have the 64bit compatible mark on them. All of the new games have it and they're working on re-encrypting the old ones like Patrician III, but I don't think there's a solid date for when it's going to be completed.

Mod's and trainer's wont work with the older encryption scheme. A good rule of thumb is if it's not marked 64-bit compatible they won't work.

Alright, So once A game is 64bit compatible, Where do I extract it to? (I've done that stuff before, but gametap games are a hidden folder.)

Re: Hey, I have a question.
Windows Hidden, not fancy hidden. It's in the "Application Data\Gametap" folder in wherever "All Users" is on your flavor of windows (for XP for example it's C:\Documents and settings\all users\Application Data\Gametap")
Turn on "Show hidden files in folders" in windows and you'll see it.
