The Settlers - Rise of an Empire Gold

When your kingdom is threatened by the evil Red Prince, you must send your knights out to take control of new territories to stand against him. Starting with only a handful of buildings and settlers, you will need to create new cities in harsh, unfamiliar, and hostile lands. Do you have what it takes to drive back the Red Prince and create a new Empire?

Today's new 64-bit release is Serious Sam 2. We had a last minute issue with our other addition to the 64-bit catalog, so we'll try to get you three games next week.

i always wanted this game but never bought it.i almost bought it on steam a few weeks ago so you just saved me $30.this is why game tap rocks

PS:are you sure you updated the schedule?it looks the same,or has there just been no changes in the status of the games that were already listed.

From what I can tell, the update to the "New games!" window is not automated, ie, the game is available to play & download but whoever updates the new games info hasn't done it yet.

Was kind of disappointed that this wasn't an action game, but once I downloaded it I found it was a very good game. Very fun, and resource management is easy and simple.

Yes it is pretty easy so far since you nver have to worry about unemployment. Pharaoh this ain't. It has me wishing for a compress time button from now and then while waiting for my knight, cart, army, settler etc. get form point A to point B but thats my only gripe.

Bottom right hand corner of the minimap, I think. Looks like a little clock.

I never liked that "unemployment" thing in CivCity Rome when I played that. Realistic, maybe, but it seemed counterintiuitive to make people DISLIKE your city. Sheesh.

It's working on my Windows 7 Pro x64 workstation just fine.

The expansion works fine for me but every time I try to start the original i get this error message.
File"base\bba\Ingensnd0.bba" is invalid!
I have already tried DLing it a second time and I'm still getting the same error. Any thoughts?

UPDATE: I guess third time is a charm, everything seems to work fine now. I knew this install was different when I noticed the desktop icon this time. I'm not sure how I could have errored twice in a row. Maybe the game didnt delete properly the first time, which did happen to me once before with another game some time ago, oh well. On a lighter note the game looks very addictive.

Okay this game is EXTREMELY easy. And appearantly there is no difficulty level. There is no careful balance you have to maintain save not over harvesting the hunting grounds or occasionally having to restrict an items use to make up for a short fall somewhere else. IE: stop using deer to make meat when clothes are needed. That's really disappointing and I'm really hoping the game gets more challenging soon, although I don't think I have much more of the game to go. (I'm on mission 10). Maybe I can unlock a harder difficulty when I beat it but I doubt it.

ok i just downloaded this game.. and i keep getting this error when i click the play now button, the little box comes up for the settlers 6 i click the button to play and this pops up on my screen "Exception Occurred: Failed to load library d3dx9_34.dll" its my first time on here downloading something so if you could help me understand a little bit better on how to download the games and where they are saved to i would really appreciate it

youbeenhad, that particular error is a DirectX error, so you will need to update that.

Generally a pretty good game, not what I expected but has enough of what I want to keep me going.

I'm also getting the "failed to load library d3dx9_34.dll" error. I have gone to microsoft to update Direct X. Is there a certain Direct X file I need to download? Direct X is already on my computer, but I don't see a d3dx9_34.dll file. There is a d3dx9 file.

Are you running XP? (I am so I can maybe help you if that's the case)
