Anybody notice under the Featured section they replaced the Sega sign with Mega 64? I truly hope we are not about to lose the Sega games.....with lack of a better phrase...that would just Effin' suck.

Ya, it's part of their silly tie-in advertising thing. And I agree, we need more SEGA, not less!

Gametap advertises for Mega64 and they advertise for Gametap. Jsmooth15 wrote: I truly hope we are not about to lose the Sega games... | | |
Me too.The first thing i did when i saw it was check that the Sega games were still there. The next thing i checked was if Ghost'N'Goblins on the Mega64 list was back. It's not...

 Re: Anybody notice.....?
Little bit off topic but talking about the Sega games.....Gunstar Heroes is sooo much more fun to play with a controller instead of the keyboard.

Most games are, except for frogger. You'd think that game was made for arrow keys.

Hahaha, very true. I'm such a procrastinator that I avoided xpadder for months until using it recently. Bad idea. I even tried to get hi scores in the unofficial tourneys with a keyboard. Not good for the hands at all!

We can use them now but you just can't change the buttons, unless you use xpadder. Xpadder is great, not only can you use it to reconfigure how you play games but it's great for turning your controller into a mouse. I recently got a cheap laptop that i hooked up to my bedroom TV so i can watch Hulu and what not.But it turns out that when it's running in dual-screen mode and you close the lid it puts the main screen on the second screen instead of just turning off the distracting first screen which means you can't get to the track-pad and keyboard without it have to take the time move the screen back. So i use Xpadder and an old controller as a mouse.Sure i could buy an actual mouse but I'm cheap and there is just something fun about controlling your whole computer with a gamepad.,I'm going to try using it to play some old Point'N'Click adventure games next.

No need to be sorry, asking questions is the best way to learn. Xpadder is a program that lets you map keyboard and mouse controls to a gamepad. So if a game only lets you use a keyboard you can use Xpadder to map your arrows keys to a controllers D-pad and some letters to the buttons and play with a custom gamepad setup. It used to be free but you have to pay for it now,but i think there is still an old free version floating around. I started playing an Indiana Jones Point'N'Click game last night and it work pretty good. Playing old pc adventure games on a flat-screen tv with a game pad is certainly an experience.
