Anyone know if the original Sam and Max game is coming to Gametap? I'm wondering if Lucas Arts tight deathlock grip is keeping it from coming.

I hope so, but I haven't heard anything that would suggest it.

I really don't get what LucasArts's deal is. They have nothing to lose by selling these existing games, and there is demand for them, but they just leave them all out of print. Especially among this "retro gaming" fad... they might be missing their chance to make big bucks with little effort, yet they do nothing with them. What a waste.

I sure hope so, considering how Sam & Max's popularity as jumped since the new game came out. I for one really want to play the game that started it all.

I loved this game so much as a kid. One of the first PC titles I bought after those newfangled CD-ROMs came out. I stayed up until eleven playing the first game the night I got it because I lost track of time. This was totally a new experience at the time.
