I know some are worried they will be too short or don't think that episodic games are any good. I do think once Grimm is out and played by the masses game developers will start looking into making episodes. I wonder if this is going to become the wave of the future? It could be interesting!
Think of it like this: There are movies, and there are series. Both work well in the general market, both can be either well or poorly written, both can lead to other versions of the same franchise... Episodic games work on the same principle, except interactive.

Games don't usually get added to the service until 6-8am the day of...so I hope nobody stays up all night to play this at midnight.

Re: Why Is Grimm Rating M
They are practically giving all of the episodes for free anyway since 18-16 hours is definitely enough to squeeze couple hours for grimm no matter how busy day you have. But the episodes might keep pulling some people back weeks or months later even if they have completed the episode before, kinda depends what they are like. Also I bet the free time will bring tons of people to try out the free GemeTap service and GT will still get income, even if many of them will stay on a free account, because of advertisers.

Re: Why Is Grimm Rating M
Is Grimm anything like a dark version of Psychonauts? But only with fairytales instead? From what I have seen, it looks like it. It looks like McGee was inspired by Shafer in the artstyle for this one.

I'm kinda surprised at the similarities that are being drawn between Grimm and Psychonauts. I enjoy them both immensely, and they do kinda have that exaggerated art style, but they seem pretty disparate to me. Maybe I'm missing something?

Possibly because very few people here have played the game.

What I really wanna see is an American McGee/Suda51 team-up project. It would be an amazing mish mash of WTF and awesome.

Re: Why Is Grimm Rating M
Apparently, the ESRB rating is going to be determined for each episode individually. That's the last I heard on it, anyway.
