 Grimm's requirements?
I haven't been able to find the system requirements for Grimm anywhere. Im curious to know what they are. It looks like my computer can handle it based on the screen shots, but i want to be sure.

 Re: Grimm's requirements?
My recommendation is at least 256 mb of video RAM, but they will run on 128s. Just make sure to turn off dynamic shadowing, reduce the texturing and details, and not run it in full-screen.

Awesome, this is going to be the first new PC game I've met the recommendeds on in quite some time. Single core AMD 3700 still kickin' it.

Drat. Looks my Turion 64 (1.8ghz) doesn't quite make it.

 Re: Grimm's requirements?
The actual clock speed is lower than the rated clock speed on single core AMDs, you'll probably play it fine. I know my 2.2 GHz Turion 64 runs Crysis even though the minimum is a 2.8 GHz.

 Re: Grimm's requirements?
Yay! Otherwise I was going to as GT for a loaner. :D After all we mods should be able to play all the games. They'll agree with that won't they! Won't They.

 Re: Grimm's requirements?
Double checked with someone else, it should be able to handle up to 2.8 GHz Single Core minimum requirement games. You could technically play Crysis, and by play I mean look at the title screen at like 5 fps.

 Re: Grimm's requirements?
Keep in mind by the way thgat the Turion 64 is not a core 2 processor (that was the turion X2.) I'll say this. I can't play overlord very well (I tried.) This is why I got an Xbox. Allows me to have a decent laptop (which I lug back and forth to work each day) and still play fun games. (Like Portal: Still Alive.)

 Re: Grimm's requirements?
Yeah, like I said, mine is a Turion 64 too, an MT-40 to be exact. AMDs perform better than Intels of the same clock speed, since clock speed isn't the end all be all of performance.

Fair enough, I salute you as being the man o' info. I just misread your above statement. I don't know who your contacts are, but they make me hopeful. Thanks Penquin.

I got that error, and I just redownloaded it and it ran fine.

 Re: Grimm's requirements?
I will forward these on to the boys, but unless I'm mistaken, it means that your system just won't support it. I get that error message when I try to run it on my laptop (and she's a couple of years old).
Try to update all of your video and processor drivers, and make sure that you've got enough video RAM. I'll let you know what I find out.
