 Some help
Ok, Spoiler Alert!
Ok, I appear to be stuck, I think my game might be broken. I am at the point where the boy's father and the boy change and then the boy's father kicks him over the wall. the quest arrow points to an area right around the boy's father, but no matter where I butt stomp, nothing happens? Any ideas?

 Re: Some help
I've done that, the whole level is covered, I even have both bonus coins, but the scene never ends and I never get credit for it so I can move on

Did you quit and try again, just in case it was a one-time bug?

 Re: Some help
Yep, I cross posted this just to see if any one else had this problem. I have quit and restarted the game now two or three times, it always seems to get stuck at the point where the boy gets kicked over the wall.

 Re: Some help
Hmm. Are you playing in the Gametap client, or the standalone version?

 Re: Some help
Ok, a couple questions then. One, are you running the game from the standard install location, or did you put it somewhere else? If you put it somewhere else, did you put it in a location where you might not have full read/write access? (Burned to disc, on a network drive, something like that). Two, are you on XP or Vista? If you're on Vista, do you have full admin rights to your machine?

 Re: Some help
I had this same problem. Only with the standalone version. I tried it in XP Pro on an admin account and in Vista x64. The same thing happened in both OS's. I never did get it fixed. I ended up going back in to XP so I could run the Gametap version and it played fine.

 Re: Some help
Apparently, you can right-click on the "setup.exe" file and select "Run As Administrator" to get around this problem.
Let me know if this works for you.

 Re: Some help
Posted what I did over in this thread http://www.gametap.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=96155𗞛
Basically, run the standalone Grimm.exe as administrator for you to get by this. Hope it works for you!

 Re: Some help
Officially, you either need to run it as an administrator and/or you need to have UAC off.
That's the word from our boys what did the developing.
It was developed under Vista specifically, by the way.
