Re: "Puss in Boots" Official Thread We're not sticking strictly to the "Official" volume of "Grimm's Fairy Tales" because the Grimm brothers didn't write those in the first place: They +collected+ the tales from various sources and dressed them up for publication. With that in mind, we're pretty open to choosing whatever stories we like.

Re: "Puss in Boots" Official Thread i bought the all new third edition paperback copy of the complete fairy tales of the brothers grimm it has all 250 storys plus 29 never before translated tales under the section "the omitted tales" is puss in boots
the nice thing about this volume is that at the end it has a list of the storys, who told the story originally to the brothers AND why some of the storys had been omitted etc. apperently, puss in boots was originally number 33 in the tales BUT was omitted from the volume because of its french origin

It really set the standard for Grimm; Funny Jokes, Good Platforming, Powerups, and some fourth thing I've probably never even heard of!!!!

Me too, It wasn't particularly relevent (although slightly) and his raspy organic voice seemed a little odd for the line. Although the Monty Python references were pretty natural for me and I didn't even notice them.... mostly because I've never watched Monty Python (IF THAT +IS+ HIS REAL NAME!)
