How To Play

Competing in the Monday Leaderboard Tournament is easy!



On the day of the tournament, go to the GameTap.com hub page for the current Leaderboard Tournament game. If you already have the GameTap Player installed, simply click on the green Play button. Otherwise, click on the Download button, and follow the simple installation instructions.



If prompted, log in to the GameTap Player using your TapID. Need a TapID? Get it here!



You will be immediately redirected to the game's Overview. If you haven't already downloaded the game, simply click on the yellow Download button to start. Check out our handy instructions while you're waiting, reconfigure the controls if necessary, and take a glance at the current Leaderboard scores to scope out the competition. When you're ready to play, click on the Start Play button.



Play the game as much as you'd like; don't worry, we'll save all your scores! When you're ready to post, exit the game by pressing the [Esc] key to return to the Overview, where you will see the graphic above. Click it!



All of your scores will be displayed. Use the check-boxes on the left to determine which scores you'd like to submit, and click Post to set your scores live.



After that, start talking trash! Your TapID gives you automatic posting access here on the GameTap Forums. Just hit reply in this thread, and let your competition know just how awesome you are.

And don't forget, you can post as many scores as you'd like, but only your highest score will count toward the top ten ranking! Good luck!

has the bug been fixed?

The zero-score bug? Sort of. The player will still prompt you for zero scores if you quit right away, but the leaderboards are now set to discard them until we can fix the bug in the player.

Yes, finally a Grimm tournament that I didn't forget about until Tuesday afternoon!

This was a tough tournament. I shaved off 5-sec at the last min(s).

I received my swag from my first win this week. It took 3 weeks and 3 days to get it from the day I won. The grimm cup is way too cool.....When you get it hot:) Thanks GameTap!

Not to worry h3lix. My 86 year old Mother is a fantastic gamer and she mentioned she would like one of the Grimm cups. Soooo, she has one coming :) Again, I had almost as much fun watching the tournament last night as I would have had if I had participated in it.

Hey, something is wrong. I just got a PM from LeaderMan congratulating me on my "win" yesterday. I didn't post my score till around 12:45AM this morning. I was not in the tournament LeaderMan. Addict9009 won the tourney. Please correct this ASAP please?

Yep, it looks like LeaderMan pulled from the all-time board by accident. We'll get this corrected. Thanks for pointing it out.

Yes! Finally a top 10 finish. My 12 minute finish time is crap compared to the top few times, despite how hard I had to work for it. I've read over H3lix's tips so maybe I can do better next time.

Thanks for the support, CB and h3lix. Whether or not I ever win a Grimm mug, competition so far has been an exhilarating rush. The scores some of you end up posting always amaze me, and push to shave those last few seconds off my scores. I may not have actually +won+ yet, but I've sure had a lot of fun getting second place.

I also got my Gametap T-shirt yesterday. And some other nifty swag. And a Grimm poster showed up today while I was out. So I can't say I'm really hurting for random collectibles.

I also got my stuff the other day and i gotta say not bad prizes, not bad at all for a 10th place finish!!! :)

I hope my swag comes soon. If you make the tourney leaderboard but don't want the prize and you forfeit it, does it go to the person next lowest ranked or does it simply disappear?

I still haven't received anything yet, should it have arrived by now?

The prizes just take a while to come, I just now received my radio arcadio, which I won in august.
