I was very happy with gametap till I realized I cant play Gothic 3 due to not being able to patch it I now get that you cant patch any game, mod any game, or do much of anything you can do with a real copy of the game. Ive decided to cancel as its not really fun when the games you want to play are not either 64BIT, unpatchable (even when the patch is needed) they wont apply the patches to their own games when they are needed so whats the point? GT obv. has a very small dev. team and I refuse to pay for unplayable games.

EDIT:Yes I know you can "play" Gothic 3 but without the patches the game is terrible

I bought alot of games on Steam, granted I still play on steam only cause I've spent about 1200.00 on my games and I don't want them to go to waste, But I will tell you now, I REALLY wish I would have remembered Gametap existed cause I would have saved myself alot of time and money.

P.S. My mom is a big bigfish/puzzle game fanatic too, and just a side note, being on here and spending 10 bucks a month is a lot cheaper than spending 6.99 for each game

Steam does suck intensely, but when I add up the HOURS it takes to download games from Gametap, add in the hours and hours and hours and hours of FRUSTRATED ANGER I have had to endure with the "Perpetual Green Circle" of death, and finally total up the games that my system WILL handle, but that Gametap WILL NOT LAUNCH, GameTap is a total
