Every Time I Click Play it gives me the choice of either game. THen when I Click on T&P it says and I quote, "Unhandled exception has occured in your applicstion. IF you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attemp to continue. If you click Quit. the application will close immediatly."

The Operation completed successful.

^ Details Continue Quit

That's what the box looks like and when i try to click on Regular Rise of Nations is says please first install the game from Cd.
COULD SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!? :? :?:  :x

Can you copy the error details for Rise of Nations? (highlight and Ctl-C to copy, Ctl-V to paste just in case). Could be a number of things and the error details may point to a specific application.

This may help though, it's from the old Windows 7 Compatibility thread:

Rise of Nations Gold works fine in 7 after installing MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 3. It appears to be the only one that supports anything past XP (not including weird versions of Windows.) Here's the exact file I used: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/d ... laylang=en

Before installing this, it'd be a good idea to uninstall any msxml installations you may already have. Despite not listing Windows 7 as a supported OS in this download, I can assure you that it worked for me. (No surprise there, 7 is really similar to Vista in a lot of ways.)

From this thread if it helps..

Thanks.
