for some reason this thread did not show for me tell just now :(
and i forgot this was going on today(actually i forgot what day it was this morning and was all exited to play titans quest double sadness :( :( )

Titan Quest is the joint. Some of us here will be playing online soon, I think.

Anyways, ROM Raiders today was a fail. So sad. We messed up something way in the beginning of the game and couldn't fix it toward the end. We were close to finishing when we realized it, and without it we could progress no further. Our only option was to go back 4 1/2 hours of play or wait for night fall, which never seemed to come. I think it would have been triggered by further progression in the game, which we couldn't do. So it goes.

So yeah, thanks for the comments and to those who watched! It was fun either way!

Sierra adventure games almost always fail. By design.

You miss one little thing early on, and, hours later, find out that the game is unwinnable. The game never gives you a clue what your mistake is, either. Dagger of Amon Ra ruined my childhood like this.

Sierra looked down on players who thought they could win games without buying Sierra's guide.

Another game that's not in Canada...

Although, back then, getting a game guide was like finding gold. Also memorizing all the finishing moves for ultimate mortal kombat 3 from a game magazine and dazzling all the losers, mwahahahaha! I kind of miss not being able to go to gamefaqs anytime I want to ruin the storyline of a game. But these days if I'm stuck for more than a day or so I just kind of want to continue on with the game...
