This week we bring you a new event: the Six Degrees of Separation! You can score some delicious Prize Points by finding a path between two GameTap titles. What sort of path? One created from the Related Games panel on every game's web page, in combination with your own super sleuthing skills! What kind of hair-brained links can you find to connect two totally unrelated games?

If we submit an answer, and then come up with a shorter one, can we resubmit for the purpose of gettting the "Short answer" points?

Small problem: All of the Submits lead to a PM with "Six Degrees of Separation - Fallout" as the title, although the body text is different.

Love this idea of a challenge, though. Already submitted 2.

Good to hear there are no bonuses for being 1st to anything, that's always a bummer for me in these events thanks to work and time zone differences. :P

Gametap has American McGee's Grimm, which is made by American McGee, the company that made Wolfenstien 3D, which is part of the Wolfenstien series, which contains Castle Wolfenstien, which was made by Silas Warner, who was the director of Super Mario's Wacky Worlds, which was on the Philips CD-I, the system that had Hotel Mario, which is considered one of the worst games ever, much like Daikatana, which is on Gametap, which means it's sad that I know all of this! AHA! I have just uncovered a conspiracy!

Street Fighter Alpha 3's link still leads to a box that says Fallout. Should I correct it and resend, because I didn't pay attention, and sent SFAs as Street Fighter? Thanks!

It says that I get bonus points if the link is less than 6, does that count if it's exactly 6?

Wait, do the six degrees include beginning and end? I got the impression that it only included the links.

Six links between the two games (or less). You don't include the games you're trying to link.

In the How To Play on the event page, it's stated that to earn the bonus points, your path must be less than 6 links (5 or less). In the example right below it, there are 4 games in between the start and end games and it is noted that the example uses 4 links. The intent was to describe that the end game should be the sixth "hop," in order to earn the bonus points.

i think it was clear and i would like to see this game again it was an easy 18 points. ;)

You could say "7 or less, including beginning/end".

Would you guys be willing to share your Fallout-to-Rainbow-Islands links? I got 6, I want to know what I stupidly missed.
