Staff Picks: Carey




Beyond Good & Evil
One of the greatest action games I ever played. Discovered it when I came to work at GameTap and was blown away. If you haven't played it get to it before the sequel comes around.



Blast Miner
This little indie title is a great puzzler (and the pick for the next ROM Raiders!). Try your hand at explosive physics.



Chu Chu Rocket
I briefly owned a Dreamcast but never got around to this one until GameTap. It's amazing puzzle action, the little noises are just precious, and the multiplayer is

This is a great playlist! I have been wanting to play Chu Chu Rocket, I will have to give it a whirl! Puzzle Magic sounds hard!! Thank you for sharing your list with us!! I think Warlords sounds like fun too!

Speaking of which! Just yesterday, in an interview at Gamasutra (on page five), it was revealed that the two men behind Pyramid Magic were none other than Mark Cerny and Hirokazu Yasuhara, the lead designer of the original Sonic the Hedgehog games. No wonder it is so awesome.

That's an awesome fact, Frank. Although I was never a fan of the Sonic games, but that's because I already had a Nintendo and there was no chance my parents were gonna get me a Genesis. But yeah, those guys sure know how to design some amazing puzzle levels.
