Discuss which games you'd love to see on GameTap and, if you can, drop a few lines on why you like it so much.

The previous official threads were getting rather long, so we felt it was time to start afresh. GameTap devs are still listening, and are still reading the original thread as well, so if you've posted a suggestion before, there is no need to repost it here.

The original Oddworld games - fun, quirky puzzle solving. Loved the lush graphics, the voice work, and and the funny story.

I know, they're on Steam.

I'm just saying.

Would be awesome to see Tomb Raider: Underworld and Prince of Persia hit gametap.

Actually, Rocket Knights Adventures, Sega CD games, and Oddworld games would be good.

If EA WOULD put a new game up, and GT isn't TOTALLY opposed to the one thing OnLIVE is doing to their service, Crysis and Crysis Warhead. It'll be the perfect selling point of GT. "Play Crysis for free and maximum settings for only on GameTap!".

I'd love to see Caesar arcade games on GT.

Although relatively new, The Witcher is a game I'd love to play. The Neverwinter Nights series is really cool too.

I'd like to see Adventure for Atari

I'd love to see a nice selection of horror games, from the more mainstream titles to obscure titles. I think this is what I love about gametap, it gives a person a chance to go through games they possibly missed out.

More Saturn and Dreamcast games please! I know there are probably license issues out the wazhoo, but anything Marvel/ X-men/ ect. vs Capcom would make me extremely happy.

I spent alot of time playing "Imperium Galactica II" when I was younger. Of course, Microsoft released windows 2000 to many a gamers howls of resentment. It would be AWSOME to go back and revisit this game, as it was one of the pivotal games that made me a dedicated PC gamer!

i would love to see the 2k series sports games..even the old dreamcast ones. it would be a good selling point for gametap to have some 3d sports games.(i really miss playing basketball games) and i belive they are made by sega

While I'd love to see them get this game too, it wouldn't be good for my productivity to have this game on my laptop, available to play at any moment...

hmmm or you could always just set up a deal with sega for an exclusive 3rd jet set

Why is it we can never get a port of Panzer Dragoon Saga on the PC? It is supposed to be a phenomenal game (one I've always wanted to play but never had the chance).

The Saturn is a beast to emulate, that is the major thing holding it back.

I'm an old-time gamer, wont to play past adventure games. I would love to see the King's Quest series continued with episodes VI. and VII. I would love to see text adventures like Moonmist and Star Trek: Kobyashi Alternative. It would also be fun to play the original Sid Meier's Pirates! (although the new verision is worlds better, admittedly). There are a ton of Commodore 64 games that I crave playing again, such as the Phatasie series and Bard's Tale.

Nostalgia is where it's at.

I know this, but what I mean is the fact that Sega never re released the game in any port to another console or classic collection, even though the game is claimed as one of the greatest games of all time. Sega could have made some good money from porting this title, rather then continue to poop out more sonic games. But I'm changing the subject.

How about Dark Corners of the Earth? Now that was a suspenseful game.

It'd be nice to get Wing Commander stuff back, but that's probably very wishful thinking. Like LucasArts games.

In the extremely wishful thinking catagory, maybe some GBA stuff now that Nintendo is not supporting GBA at all... Like the early Fire Emblem games

And to close on a very realistic possibility - how about the original Dr. Brain games, like Castle of Dr. Brain and Island of Dr. Brain, from before the franchise was completely ruined?

Oh, and if we are getting Microsoft stuff, what about Crimson Skies?

I was kinda wondering about the newest Tomb Raider game. Underworld, or something like that. You guys are selling it in the GT store, but it would be awesome if you could get that one the way you got Anniversary. (and if you have to keep it restricted to gold for cost considerations... oh well.. I happen to be paying anyway... )
